Antoinette Denise went on to have a career in Nutrition and Public Health. After retiring as a Public Health Nutritionist, she entered the field of education as a Family and Consumer Science teacher. She taught sewing as a first year teacher and surprisingly, had as many as twenty eight students in a class who wanted to genuinely learn how to sew.
When the curriculum changed, she also taught Food, Nutrition and Wellness, Lifespan Nutrition and Food Science, Home Interior and Early Childhood. After fourteen years of teaching, Antoinette Denise is retired.
While teaching sewing outside of school, she had clients who wanted to start their own clothing lines, so she went into consulting.
She has a son, Daniel and a grandson named Jackson.
